Local Museum Peel and Maas
This museum exhibits the history of the region and you can experience it during fascinating presentations and expositions. The Wheel of Fortune at the entrance invites you to further explore the region in a 'playful' way.
Every room in this museum is individually styled and each room shows a different theme. The ‘Romeinenkamer’ (Roman room) takes you into the age of the Romans. And there is also a ‘Zolder van horen zeggen’ ('Loft from hearsay'), where you can hear the sagas and legends about brigands and gnomes, or in the ‘Tuin van Toen naar Nowadays’ (Garden of past to present) you can listen to the fairy tales of the 'whispering trees'. A surprising and inviting that doesn't require a lot of travelling.
